Walk A: Carrauntoohil (1039m) Difficult walking
Carrauntoohil, Ireland’s highest mountain cannot be ignored. The climb may be done from the north via Coomcallee/ The Hag’s Glen, and up through Eagle’s nest (Cummeennoughter) and to Carrauntoohil through O’Sheas Gully. It may then be possible to continue to Ireland’s second highest Beenkeragh (1010m) via the ridge if weather permits and descend down Knockbrinnea. The route taken will be determined by the weather on the day.

A circuit of the 3 Pater Noster lakes nestled in the Glen under Carrauntoohil gives a satisfied climb and superb views with minimum of effort.

Walk A: Coomasaharn Lake Horseshoe (790m) Difficult walking
This walk takes place southwest of Glenbeigh Village where the Ice Ages have created a dramatic series of 6 coombs in an area of approximately ten square kilometres / six square miles.

Walk B: Seefin circuit. Moderate walking.
This is a circular walk giving superb views over Caragh Lake and Dingle Bay.
The name derives from association with the Fianna, Ireland’s band of legendary warriors. We can relive the legends as we walk.
