Truly unwind and relax
on one of our yoga/gentle walking weeks
in 2007. Discover a different level of
consciousness through yoga and change
your life. Regular practice will make
your body more supple and flexible, your
mind calmer and it will improve your
concentration.
Enjoy a 2 hour yoga session each morning,
covering postures (asanas), breathing techniques
(pranayama) and blissful relaxation. It’s
as gentle as you want to make it and suitable
for all ages. It is suitable for regular
yoga goers and beginners who are interested
in their general well being and want to
take the time to discover yoga as well
as walking.
The walks on 5 afternoons are a gentle
4-5 miles (1 boot) mainly through the National
Park. Finish each day with a wonderful
yoga relaxation session. There is a free
day mid-week for you to explore Kerry.
You could go and swim with Fungi the Dolphin
in Dingle or see the Ring of Kerry. It’s
your time to make the most of!
Your base for the week will be a beautiful
three star hotel in the heart of Killarney
National Park. Killarney is a vibrant town
in the heart of the Irish Lakeland in a
beautiful national park – a walking
mecca. Enjoy the colourful laneways, the
fine neo-Gothic cathedral and other historic
buildings. The town offers a great variety
of craft/book shops, restaurants and pubs.
Your guide for the week Daniele Dreyer
is a gem. She is an experienced Go Ireland
walking guide in the Summer and runs a
thriving yoga school for the rest of the
year.
